Bush,
if you can throw your weight behind 700 billion, why have you taken a back seat to the vote on the energy issue? How can the democrats ( only 7 weeks ago ) just walk out and refuse to vote on this issue that relates so deeply to our economy and the REAL crisis we face?
I want a real answer to this question. Why has no one gotten together a class action suit against every person who abandoned their post at such a crucial time in American history? Must be nice to get so many vacations throughout the year.
Not to mention retirement pay, with great health benefits. The average americans are lucky to get a sick day without being fired. Retirement, yea right ! Not in this day and age! It sickens all Americans when they see a stunt like what the democrats did 7 weeks ago.
Yet you, our president said nothing.
